Joomla 1.5 reviews: Templates, components, modules

ByJoomla.com offers 10 Joomla 1.5 templates free as well as a pro package which comes with their image slider (component / menu), news tabber and list menu modules. There is no phone number or address listed on the site. However, they do promote they are allied with DesignForJoomla.com which is a Joomla design company operating in Vietnam. They also have a forum which seems not be very active.

Joomla Bear is a Joomla template club with an impressive following. They day we visited their "who's online" module showed 217 guests and 5 years. Could that be faked? Sure, but given the quality of their site designs and general reputation we think they are honest and and forth right. Regarding their templates, we are very impressed with their ever moving forward design and functionality. Of course, their free templates are not nearly as good, but for a nominal fee you can join their club and have access to some of the top designs in the community, plus they have a forum which seems semi-active with questions and answers.
